OUR SECURITY CAPABILITY

Securing your people and property has never been more important, whether you’re looking for protection of the property itself, data, assets or personal within it. A professionally-designed and reliably-maintained electronic security system that complements your overall security strategy is vital.

When we install access control, CCTV and intruder products and systems, we use only the world’s most respected manufacturers. Plus, we carry out ongoing maintenance to make sure your security system is in peak working condition.

We can provide everything from small systems to extensive IP networked CCTV and access control systems, with remote diagnostics and complete global portfolio control from a single location. You can trust us to install and maintain a professionally-designed system, leaving you free to concentrate on what you do best ‒ running your business.

ACCESS CONTROL

Access Control plays a vital role in most buildings, allowing only those with relevant access into a building or specific areas of it. And, crucially, it provides you with a record and audit trail of staff and visitor access.

Most new systems use IP networking, with local and remote web access to monitor and control the system. Plus, many can be connected to speed lanes and lifts, as well as traditional proximity and card readers.

We work with leading manufacturers to install and maintain a variety of access control systems including Gallagher, C-Cure, Janus C4, Sateon and WIN-PAK, to name just a few.

INTERCOM

We can install and maintain a wide range of intercom systems. These start from a basic stand-alone system with voice only, and go through to full video and systems integrated into the access control system.

They provide an easy and cost effective means of controlled entry into small commercial buildings where there is not a full reception service or apartments and private residencies.

CCTV

CCTV plays a vital role in the security of your building. It serves as a preventative measure and also helps you to identify and analyse people and vehicle movements etc.

CCTV allows potential issues to be spotted before they escalate, and for subsequent investigation and prosecution if an incident is captured.

We install and maintain everything from very small, simple, stand-alone single or multiple camera systems through to large IP networked systems with remote web access.

And, through analytics, you can identify people, vehicles, movement etc., so operators can be alerted to a potential issue, rather than relying on them being spotted on a multitude of screens. We can also provide remote CCTV monitoring from our Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC).

We work with leading manufacturers to install and maintain a range of CCTV systems including FLIR, Avigilon, IndigoVision, American Dynamics and TruVision.

INTRUDER AND PERIMETER PROTECTION

Intruder systems perform a crucial function in keeping your building secure and providing notification, either on site or remotely, of intrusion through a variety of trigger devices.

Systems can be basic with a user keypad and a few door or window contacts and PIRs (passive infrared sensors), or complex with perimeter protection that allows your whole site to be secured.

Intruder Systems are normally linked to an Alarm Receiving Centre.  This is so activations can be monitored remotely to prompt the right response, whether this is attendance from a key holder, security company or the emergency services.

REMOTE MONITORING

We offer DualCom, IP and other monitoring of security systems to our own in house or you nominated Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC), to alert keyholders and relevant personnel in the event of an incident.

However, more and more systems can now be remotely monitored, allowing management, control and monitoring of buildings remotely at a central location. This can reduce the need for onsite security staff. It also means senior staff with the relevant secure login details can monitor the systems and get notifications from a web browser or on a mobile device. Plus, we can securely login to carry out remote diagnostics and relevant configuration changes remotely.

SECURITY MAINTENANCE

After you’ve invested in a security system, it’s essential it’s kept well maintained.

It would be a major security breach if an intruder bypassed a faulty alarm system or if the CCTV camera wasn’t properly set up to alert security staff or record the incident. It’s therefore vital to keep all systems functioning.

At Senseco Systems we’re experienced with such a wide range of systems that we’re the logical choice for the maintenance of all your electronic security systems.

Our specialist security engineers have in-depth knowledge of high end security systems. What’s more, our multi-skilled fire and security engineers can efficiently service systems on smaller premises, rather than sending different specialist engineers, so your maintenance costs are kept to a manageable level.

Somerset House

Somerset House is a heritage property dating back to 1547 in the heart of London. Although it is well known for it’s outdoor skating rink at Christmas and open air concerts in the summer, it has many other uses and accommodates many other tenants. It hosts the UK’s largest creative community working globally across art, technology, business and social enterprise.

The South Wing of Somerset House had a mix of hard wired fire detection system, an obsolete radio / wireless fire detection system and many aspiration systems, most no longeroperational. The project was to replace all of the systems in the South Wing with a single fire detection system for all areas and provide graphical representation of this wing and two other wings with legacy systems on a single graphics platform.

This was all to be carried out within a listed building with mixed use and different tenants with minimal disruption to day to day operations.

Castle Mall

Located in the centre of Norwich City, Castle Mall shopping centre comprises of 60 stores and food outlets, across five levels of retail and leisure, including an 8-screen Vue cinema. The centre also boasts a 790 space multi-storey car park.

The fire detection and alarm system installed in the shopping centre was a Honeywell FC90 system, which was closed protocol and had reached the end of its working life. A replacement system was therefore needed to provide a modern supportable system for the shopping centre.

This is a working shopping centre so minimal disruption to the operation of the shopping centre, retailers and shoppers was of paramount importance.

Uniper Enfield

Uniper’s portfolio combines large-scale power generation and management of energy supply chains. Uniper’s former parent company was E.ON, who now focus on the new energy world.

Uniper Power Station in Enfield had fire, suppression and voice alarm systems that had reached the end of their serviceable life.  They needed modern control equipment which would combine controls for different extinguishing systems into a centralised control station.  The extinguishing systems themselves also needed replacing or updating.

Senseco were chosen to provide a bespoke solution providing controls and upgrades for gas extinguishing, water mist and deluge systems along with a replacement voice alarm rack.  Our power station expertise and ability to provide flexible, custom built solutions to meet Uniper’s needs were key to the project.
